Not Too Shabby Furniture and Decor opened for business on March 1st, 2013 just down the street from it's current location.  With a few dozen purchased items and a 1400 square foot space, a small town local business had it's beginning.  Just two short months later already filled to capacity, we moved to the adjacent space into a whopping 2500 square foot that we were sure we would never outgrow.  However, less that one year later we were moving again to our current location at double the size.  In the summer of 2015 we began buying new and liquidation furniture loads to offer more variety to our customers than consignments or our own buying used could provide.  After Hurricane Florence in 2018, consignments and good used furniture became very difficult to find.  We subsequently increased out new furniture and decor buying which has brought us to where we are today.

 

2020 marks the year when the decision was made to be all new, no more used or consignments.  Our newest venture, Our Coastal Home, has begun!
